Forests with Exceptional Conservation Value<\/strong><\/p>\n\t

Bennett Lumber is committed to promote and conserve Forests with Exceptional Conservation Value, defined as critically imperiled and imperiled species and ecological communities, within our wood and fiber sourcing area.\u00a0 Using the tools found at https:\/\/explorer.natureserve.org\/pro\/Welcome,\u00a0<\/a> we have identified species of concern that we encourage landowners, loggers, and managers to watch for and protect if they are found.\u00a0 We require compliance with BMP’s associated with stream and river protection as many of these species have riparian habitats.\u00a0 We also encourage landowners of native palouse prairie habitat to protect and conserve those areas.<\/p>\n
